Convention 98 Photo Album


The Trade Show gave photographers a chance to see the latest in props and equipment as well as take advantage of specials.	Photgraphers and viewers from the public visit the Print Exhibit. In the center is the Court of Honor.

Rick Billings gave a full-day presentation on how his studio photographs 85% of all their portraits and events using digital capture and printing.	Drake Buseth shows how to compose large family groups (with the help of several "volunteer" family members.)

Our Heroes, Colin Park and Dick Schacht once again donate their time to do the most thankless job in the world : photograph other photographers!	Dick makes an adjustment to Robert Palmer's jacket while Barb Barker poses with him. (Say...does his wife know about this? Ooops - guess so now!)

Mark Derry is applauded by his peers and the Professional Photographers of Oregon as he receives the National Award; P.P.A.'s highest honor.	The One And Only Frank Lee Masters demonstrates to a couple of new members the joys and tears of being a professional photographer as they play Big Bucks.

Gerald Isaacson receives his A.F.P. degree.	Cindy Kassab takes home yet another trophy!

Convention chairman Bill Lind recieves his F.P. degree. Thanks for a GREAT CONVENTION Bill!	Peter Paul Rubens receives his A.F.P. degree.

Richard May presents Shirley Holzinger (with husband Len) with her trophy for the Best Restoration trophy. Later that evening she received a long standing ovation from members for the many years of service she has given as our executive manager.	Mimi Yuranek is presented with her F.P. degree from husband Randy. (Later that evening P.P.O. members voted unanimously to bar them from entering any future competition in order to give other member a chance.)
