Our man John!

As always, the  Trade Show gave photographers a chance to see the latest in props and equipment as
well as take advantage of specials.
Megan amuses herself  by performing bubble tricks at the PPO auction. (Unfortunately, we missed the shot that came right after this...but use your imagination.)

Curt Almqiest explains their baby contest as part of
the popular Professional Profiles series with members helping members

Dick Schacht's grandson makes his first Oregon debut. The P.P. of Oregon is all about family!

Doug Box gave two great programs! Here, explains
how to photograph shiny objects, and uses a monitor so everyone can see the lighting techniques.
Deanna Burch gave a full-day program on photographing children and studio promotions.
Popular speaker  Denis Reggie spent an entire day explaining how he photographs weddings in the true candid style. (Definitely NOT VeetaMax!) Once again, Dick Schacht helped pose the prom photos at the banquet. Thanks to K&K who donated
all the processing and delivered the proofs before the convention's end!
Four of our past presidents caught in a "Kodak Moment" at the convention. Clarence Palmer, Walt Klages, Forrest "Fudge" Davission, and Jerry Auker. Landscape artist Cindy Kassab displays another side of creativity  by juggling lighted balls to the delight of banquet attendees.
President Colin Park has a difficult time containing his excitement in passing on the gavel to President elect Barb Barker. Morey  Marks is presented with his A.F.P. degree by his children and Pres. Collin Park.
Emily Niebrand was awarded a $500 scholarship from the  P.P. of Oregon scholarship fund. Walt Klages receives yet another trophy.
Richard May receives yet another trophy from presenter Ben Vallejos. Kodak rep Howard Fisher presents the Gallery Award to Neil Haugen. Doug Box dances with Barb Barker at the Awards Banquet. (Not to be confused with Barb Box!)

The Fifties & Sixties party was a great success! After trying to identify members from their High School photo (some 3 years old...some 50 years old) we danced the night away.

No one can say photographers don't dress with class!  (Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for lab reps! )
